We want you to have a great day out when you visit Threads and Patches.
Patchwork and Craft Groups are very welcome - please give us a few days notice for larger groups, so we can make sure we have enough staff available to look after you to our own high standards.

Why Visit Threads and Patches?
We are a friendly, well stocked patchwork and needlecraft shop approx 50 miles north of London.
We moved here to our current location in June 2009 having been squeezed into much smaller premises just around the corner for the previous 8 years. The shop is run by Sally White and her fantastic team of staff.
Threads and Patches has a large ground floor shop and classroom.

The classroom can accommodate up to 36 for hand stitching projects (shared tables) and 14 for machine stitched projects (individual tables).
Other facilities include a large car park for up to 30 vehicles. Ground floor toilet / disabled toilet, upstairs toilet. Large forecourt / seating area for summer classes / café.
Upstairs is 'Craftability' a scrapbook and card making shop formerly at Poplars Nursery Toddington for 19 years run by Vanessa Noonan.
Also upstairs is 'The Knitting Basket' a wool shop run by Elaine Leech.

Parking at Threads and Patches
We have a large car park which can accomodate up to 25 cars, a large mini bus or small coach. Large coaches (36 seater upwards) can drop off customers outside the main door and then park in the car park of a local night club with whom we have an arrangement (approx a 6 minute walk away).

Coach Party Arrangements
On arrival - space is allocated for parking your vehicle. Refreshments of tea, coffee, water, cakes and biscuits will be available. Either on the forecourt (weather permitting) or in one of our workshops.
Large Groups
Large groups may be split, so that one group is seated in our workshop upstairs and one down and the tutors shuttle between the two! Lunch will be served at a set time, this will be a buffet. We request that you inform us at least 7 days in advance of any special dietary requirements.
